Day 23: Shop at Local Small Businesses

Oh you know that I love this one! Welcome back to 31 Days of Loving Our Homes where we talk about things we can do in the new year to make our homes a space that we love. I am especially excited about todays resolution.. because well, I am a local small business! In all seriousness, our resolution for day 23 is to shop at local small businesses. 

Not only does shopping small support your community, but it also is a great way to source pieces for your home that are more unique than what you may find at larger stores.  If your goal for 2024 is make your space feel more unique and thoughtful, then shopping small may be the solution for you! Some of my favorite home decor pieces have been bought at small local businesses. I find that when I walk into a smaller home decor store, I am not finding the same pieces that I am seeing everywhere else. I get to shop home decor that was sourced from someones very unique point of view! 

I can say from my own experience that shopping small can truly leave the store owner feeling happy and proud to have been able to help you find something that you love. There are so many amazing small businesses that you can support to purchase for all facets of your life.... here are some of my favorites here in Southwest Florida.
