Day 25: Keep Fresh Greenery & Florals in Your Home

Welcome back to 31 Days of Loving Our Homes where we talk about things that we can do in the new year to make our homes a space that we love. For day 25 our resolution is to keep fresh greenery & florals in our homes. This may seem like a silly resolution but the truth is that integrating fresh greenery and florals into your home isn't just about aesthetics – it's a powerful way to uplift your space and infuse it with natural beauty.

One of the most obvious advantages of adding fresh greenery is the instant boost it gives to the visual appeal of your home. Whether it's a cute potted plant, a fresh bouquet of flowers or a simple vase of greenery, you are guaranteed to add an uplifted and vibrant feel to your space.

Fresh flowers, in particular, introduce a burst of color that can transform any room. Especially when you are a neutral decor lover, florals can add a subtle and very natural pop of color to your space. My personal favorites as of late are tulips. Florals are a great way to immediately uplift your mood and treat yourself to something special.

Dried greenery is also a great way to add life into a space. Buying eucalyptus or filler greens and allowing them to dry in a vase is a more manageable way to keep a natural element in your space at all times.

My personal favorite part (as a home decor lover) is how fresh greenery and florals allow you to experiment with different vases and placement. I love finding unique vases to style with my weekly florals. A current favorite for me is my paper bag vase made by hand by artist Alicja from our shop. It is such a unique piece yet subtle enough to let the flowers shine. Decorating with florals and greenery is not specific to any interior decor style. Regardless of your taste, there is a floral and vase combo for everyone!

Try to create a routine around adding florals and greenery to your space each week. I look forward to picking my flowers and creating a new arrangement. It is a form of self love for me. Miley said it first... I can buy myself flowers. And so can you.
