Day 27: Invest in a Device That You Can Play Music On

After the world turned upside-down in 2020, it seemed that so many of us were focused on creating "core memories." For so many of us, a large majority of our core memories are created in our homes. For that reason, we have dedicated the last 26 days to making our homes a space that we love. For day 27 of 31 Days of Loving Our Homes, our resolution is to invest in a device that you can play music on.

Hear me out, creating core memories is all about foundational moments that will live on in our memories for a long time... And music? It's the perfect element to helping us recall these special moments. So often, a memory for me is connected to a specific song that was playing at the time. For that reason, I thought that adding a device that plays music would be a great touch to our homes. That way, we are constantly uplifting the vibes in the space as well as creating connections to special moments. 

Playing music is great during times of relaxation, connection and gathering. And the best part is that you don't have to invest in a crazy sound system... in fact, there are so many affordable options out there that get the job done just fine. Before investing in a device, try playing music out loud on your phone more often as you do mundane tasks like cleaning and cooking and even in the background while eating dinner with your loved ones. See how it makes you feel. If you find that you like the atmosphere that it creates, go ahead and take the leap to investing in a device.
